บทเพลง Encantada ใช้ Harmonic material ( องค์ประกอบทางเสียงประสาน ) อิงมาจาก ท่อนแรกของบทเพลง Concerto for Vibraphone. ชื่อ Enchanted นำมาจากบทกวี La Luz Encantada ( " Enchanted Light " ) ของ Pablo Neruda นอกจากนี้ ชื่อ Enchanted Light ได้ถูกนำมาใช้ในท่อนที่สองของ Vibraphone Concerto อีกด้วย

Encantada is based on harmonic material from the first movement of my Concerto for Vibraphone. The title (meaning "enchanted") is derived from the poem La Luz Encantada ("Enchanted Light") by Pablo Neruda, also used for the second movement of the vibraphone concerto.
